LOH Ride to Pinedale Covered Bridge - Pinedale

Ride up to the cool pines of Pinedale to check out the only covered bridge in Arizona.

Meet at HDOS for KSU at 9:00 am

Lunch after viewing the bridge - Red Onion Heber AZ 

Only Covered Bridge in AZ, a bicentennial project from 1976. Find this bridge south on Pinedale Rd. from E Hwy 260, about 75 miles east of Payson. Once you turn south, you can see the bridge right away. The roadway is narrow. Parking is on a side road going back to Cobble Creek, a newer housing development. This way one can walk back to take a closer look at the bridge and read the plaques. Please be careful on Pinedale Rd. People do speed and the interior of the bridge is narrow.
