Spring Heat in Arizona Touring Rally

There will be a 2 Day ride begining on 3/27 that will go throught Northern AZ and central New Mexico to arrive for the opening day of the Spring Heat Touring Rally (3/28) at Thunderbird HD in Albuquerque, NM.

Ride Plan:

  • KSU at 8:00 am from HDOS
  • Ride north on the B-Line Hwy to Payson, then east on Hwy 260 to Showlow.
  • Hotel for the night of 3/27 is currently TBD.
  • On 3/28, we will continue the ride east on US Hwy 60 through Socorro, NM to Mountainair, NM, then north on NM Hwy 55 and NM Hwy 337 to Tijerez, NM.  We will continue north on NM Hwy 14 to Madrid, NM for Lunch.
  • After lunch, we will proceed to Thunderbird HD for regestration and the opening day ceremonies for the Rally

Let’s take the long way to Arizona Bike Week together!  With the snow melted and the spring flowers in bloom, it will be “smooth riding ahead” on this gorgeous route.  Hit the open road for an exhilarating motorcycle touring rally through the stunning landscapes of New Mexico and Arizona! Experience the stark beauty of the Southwest as we weave through majestic deserts and towering mountains, where vibrant sunsets paint the sky and rugged terrain challenges your riding skills. This rally promises breathtaking vistas, unique cultural experiences, and the chance to connect with fellow riders who share your passion for adventure!
 

Official Rally Route:

  • Day 1 (3/28) - Check in day at Thunderbird HD (Albuquerque, NM)
  • Day2 (3/29)  - Alamagordo, NM
  • Day 3 (3/30) - Silver City, NM
  • Day 4 (3/31) - Show Low, AZ
  • Day 5 (4/1)   - Close out meeting at Superstition HD (Apache Junction, AZ)
